Clearwater International has appointed a managing partner in London ahead of a move to larger premises in The Strand in the New Year.

The global corporate finance advisory firm welcomes Christopher Jones to lead the 35-strong team in the capital.

His fellow managing partner Marcus Archer plans to devote more time to leading private equity coverage internationally while driving M&A across the UK alongside UK CEO Mark Taylor.

Jones has mid-market corporate finance expertise across travel and leisure, eCommerce and consumer brands, working on more than 60 deals with a combined deal value of over €3 billion.

He began his career at EY and joins from the global consumer team of Houlihan Lokey via eight years at Arrowpoint Advisory.

Clearwater helped broker the sale of Littlefish to Bowmark Capital.

It has also assisted with deals involving venture capital and private equity houses LDC, BGF, Maven and Inflexion.
