The UK Space Agency Accelerator’s Explore programme is open for applications for its third cohort.
The Explore programme is delivered in partnership with the UK Space Agency, Entrepreneurial Spark and Exotopic, and supported by Frazer Nash Consultancy, Alden Legal, Satellite Finance Network, Deloitte, and Know Space.
Since the UK Space Agency Accelerator’s initial launch in 2021, the Explore programme has supported 63 out of a total of 108 space entrepreneurs to transform ideas for a space business into a reality.
The programme is currently searching for its third cohort of pioneering, early-stage entrepreneurs ready to take their first steps into the commercial space sector.
The Explore programme is a nine-week accelerator sprint for those making their first steps into the commercial space industry.
Applicants can include inventors with a desire to build a scalable venture or an entrepreneur in an adjacent industry with an idea that has the potential to revolutionise the space sector.
Successful applicants will access cutting-edge business growth tools, and 1:1 support from entrepreneurial growth experts and make rapid progress via a five-week action sprint.
As a result, members of the cohort will graduate from the programme with a clear plan of action and access to an expansive network to launch their space venture.
Portia Bircher, business support and growth manager at the UK Space Agency, said: “I am thrilled that the Explore programme is entering its third iteration.
“The UK space sector relies on continuous innovation, and the Explore programme is effectively addressing this by championing and supporting newcomers to the space sector. This year, we are supporting a cohort of 30 entrepreneurs to reach their potential within space.”
