YFM Equity Partners has significantly expanded its investment team in the last year to meet ambitious growth objectives and to cater for the burgeoning demand across various regions.

The investment firm specialises in equity investment between £3 million to £15m for entrepreneurial businesses.

Responding to an increased appetite for equity investment, YFM has bolstered its investment team by 38% since last summer. This strategic move aims to further fortify the firm’s presence in territories such as Scotland and Northern Ireland and provide enhanced support for SME growth initiatives.

“The expansion of our investment team, reflects our commitment to fuelling the growth of SMEs across diverse regions,” said Jamie Roberts, head of investments at YFM.

“The growing demand for SME equity investment reflects the recognition among entrepreneurs of the unique benefits and opportunities afforded by this alternative financing model.

“As SMEs seek to fuel their growth ambitions, equity investment emerges as a compelling option for long term growth support against a backdrop of high interest rates.

“As we continue to witness growing demand for equity investment, our strengthened team is well-positioned to identify and capitalise on promising investment opportunities.”
