Manchester-based cybersecurity startup Zally has hired experienced Rob Jones as CFO. Zally aims to change the way people log in to platforms and could reduce fraud and boost conversions. Patrick Smith is the CEO.


Lauren Bevan has returned to technology and engineering consultancy BJSS to start a new position as head of healthcare strategy. She previously left BJSS to become director of consulting at Ethical Healthcare Consulting.


Musiio co-founder Hazel Savage has become an angel investor in social networking app CLIQ. Founded by Jason Iliffe and Nicola Gunby, CLIQ connects users to local communities and events based on shared interests. The startup is on track to hit 100k users by the summer.


Ruby Melling has started a new position as head of people at Manchester-based tech firm Aibytech via Talentloop. Talentloop specialises in strategic talent and people solutions for scale-ups.


EY has announced Liz Jones as its new Liverpool office managing partner. EY’s Royal Albert Dock is home to more than 70 people. Jones said: “Liverpool means a great deal to me, so to be able to lead our business in the city is a huge privilege. We have a fantastic team already and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with my wonderful colleagues and the thriving business community in Liverpool as we pursue further growth.”


Jessica Kuka has been promoted to chief marketing officer at Manchester social media disrupter Chatloop. She started life at Chatloop in 2021 as a consultant before leading the product strategy. Chatloop aims to reinvent how people browse the internet by enabling them to start conversations anywhere on the web.

Kyle Hill has joined ANS Group as the technical services delivery director. He previously worked at Avanade, a leading provider of innovative digital, cloud and advisory services, industry solutions and design-led experiences across the Microsoft ecosystem.
