Who?

Beasy was founded by entrepreneurs Arif Miah and Ala Uddin, who co-founded creative marketing agency Mud Orange.

Why?

It aims to eliminate the confusion and stress experienced by the UK’s 5.4 million small businesses when choosing services – especially amid a backdrop of surging costs.

What?

It uses tech-powered personalisation to help time-poor small business owners overloaded by choice make informed decisions based on their business type, size and needs.

How?

The platform covers everything from mobile contracts, broadband, insurance and energy tariffs, to accounting tools, website building platforms, co-working spaces and card payment systems.

Where?

Beasy is based in London.

They say:

Miah: “We are here to truly disrupt the way small businesses compare and buy business products and services, and modernise a market that’s outdated. Small businesses are the backbone of the UK economy, and it’s simply not right that many ambitious founders with incredible ideas see their small businesses fail largely due to an archaic and confusing experience to buying simple things like insurance and energy tariffs, to making a website and managing social media, often paying too much for services and products that aren’t right for them.”

Uddin: “As founders ourselves, we know what it takes to grow a business from the ground up, and the pain points that exist along the way. Buying business products and services causes stress and confusion for so many founders, so Beasy exists to help unlock the next generation of British business by becoming the easiest way for small businesses to turbo-charge their business ambitions. As a first-of-its-kind platform, we see ourselves as the business owner’s best friend, and by supporting the small business community directly we hope to play our part in powering the British economy forwards.”
