The final experts and speakers have been confirmed for FUEL Liverpool on May 14th.
Startups and scaleups will hear from Raina Heverin, founder & MD at ReCulture and co-founder at SupplyWell; Simon Roberts, CEO at Heatio; Mark Sykes, head of entrepreneurial business at BDO; and Alexandra Hatchman, former CEO of Napthens and Fletchers Solicitors.
Recruitment specialist Raina Heverin founded ReCulture in 2019 to deliver culture-led recruitment for growth-focused companies. In that same year she co-founded SupplyWell, which helps schools cut the cost of hiring supply teachers, with husband and former teacher Michael Heverin.
Roberts is a seasoned renewable energy professional with 16 years of experience who founded Heatio with Thomas Farquhar in 2022. The CleanTech startup analyses energy use in the home to optimise the way people use devices such as heat pumps, electric batteries and solar panels.
Sykes helps companies to manage the day-to-day requirements of doing business and also to realise their goals – whether that is raising finance, developing a business plan or expanding globally – in his position at accountancy and business advisory firm BDO.
It takes the number of speakers for the event to 15, spread across breakfast panels and following masterclass pods.
FUEL Liverpool is two events in one created to fuel business growth for promising startups and scaleups.
Supported by Growth Platform and Clockwise, the innovative event begins with a panel discussion of some of the big questions facing business, which is free to attend, before a select group of businesses will gain direct insight from experts in a series of masterclass pods.
The pods will focus on funding, people, export and planning for growth and FUEL Liverpool will be held at Clockwise Liverpool on Royal Albert Dock.
The event will be chaired by award-winning executive editor Chris Maguire and will be featured in TechBlast and BusinessCloud.
