Who?

Jogiton was founded by commercial director Richard Howarth, who has more than 15 years of experience in enhancing the auction industry through innovative web development.

Why?

Howarth wants to create a fair and transparent platform, establishing a community rooted in trust – making the auction process more accessible and enjoyable for everyone involved.

What?

Sellers are not charged a fee. Alongside auctions, they can also set a fixed price for their items for instant sales. Buyers – who can shop for items in a wide range of categories including electronics, home and garden, and clothing and accessories – are typically charged 10% of the purchase price (in addition to any PayPal fees) but this will be waived until the end of March as an introductory offer.

How?

Sellers can create item descriptions using AI assistance, a tool that will be especially useful for sellers who are uploading multiple items at once or are not sure what to include in a description. Jogiton says it takes less than two minutes to upload an item for sale.

Where?

Jogiton is based in Manchester.

They say:

Howarth: “We’re tremendously excited here at Jogiton to be launching our online marketplace – we can’t wait to share it with buyers and sellers alike. We designed the platform to be as easy to use as possible, and we kept helping shoppers save money in the front of our minds.

“Jogiton has a handy suggestion feature so that all our users can send us any feedback they might have, and we’re keen to keep developing and improving the marketplace as time goes on. In the meantime, we hope all new users enjoy our introductory offers – no fees for any users in the first month, and from then on for the first year, the chance to win a £50 voucher in our community rewards programme.”
